Visit Quebec house as they recreate some of Mrs Wolfe’s eighteenth century recipes such as lemon drops, King or Queen cakes or macaroons. Tastings available.

Mrs Wolfe kept plenty of recipes from cakes and bakes to even medicinal drinks and ointments. Every Sunday the kitchen gives off wonderful aromas as a volunteer brings to life these Georgian recipes for you to try. Each Sunday there are different recipes to try so you’ll have to keep stopping by for the latest creations.

They’ve tweaked the recipes slightly from their eighteenth century origins and introduced similar modern ingredients where possible. Please check with the volunteer for any allergy requirements.

Children welcome. Assistance dogs are welcome.

Booking not needed. Simply drop into the kitchen to sample the treats. Wheelchair access to the kitchen. One step on the ground floor; stairs to the first floor.

This event is free, but normal admission charges apply for the venue.
